Glasgow closed its district schedule undefeated after rolling over Edmonson County, 57-0, on Friday night.
Hudson Gumm had an explosive night at quarterback with five touchdown passes, but the game’s first touchdown came on a six-yard run by wide receiver Jerrick Martin. Jared Malagon added the PAT and Glasgow led 7-0 with 7:30 left in the first quarter.
The Scotties’ next score came with 4:50 showing in the second period when Gumm hit Martin on a nine-yard pass. Malagon added his second PAT.
Glasgow forced a fumble on the Wildcats’ next possession, then Gumm swung a pass to the left to Jaylen Bradley. Bradley reversed field and raced through the defense 27 yards to the end zone. Malagon made his third extra point and Glasgow led 21-0.
The Scotties closed the first half scoring with a one-yard touchdown pass from Gumm to Grayson Bartley. Malagon added the extra point to make it 28-0.
Gumm threw two more touchdown passes in the third quarter. His first was 35 yards to Martin, and the second was 56 yards to Bradley. Malagon added both extra points.
In the fourth quarter, Cam Bulle rushed 15 yards for a score, and Jaithan Franklin ran five yards for a touchdown. Malagon added one PAT, and Trace England pitched to Trevis Collor for a two-point conversion on the other TD to set the 57-0 final.
Gumm completed 12 of 15 passes for 185 yards and five touchdowns.
Bulle led on the ground with 77 rush yards, while Gumm ran for 47 yards, Kaebran Jones rushed for 36 yards, and Franklin finished with 25 rushing yards.
Bradley caught four passes for 113 yards, while Martin had 62 receiving yards.
The Scotties host Franklin-Simpson on Thursday at 7 p.m. for their final regular season game. They are 9-0 overall and 5-0 in Class 3A, District 2.
