The Glasgow girls’ cross country team finished fifth in the Class 1A, Region 2 meet Saturday at Thomas Nelson High School.
Brinleigh Mackie led the way for the Lady Scotties with a time of 23:16.43 and finished 14th. Anne Rhoades Pike ran 18th in a time of 24:09.57.
Also for Glasgow, Callaway Mackie finished 21st with a time of 24:17.85, while Danica Stephens was 23rd with a time of 24:25.74, and Evelyn Myatt finished 49th with a time of 31:12.03. Their times were used to calculate the team score.
The Glasgow Scotties did not have a full team, but did have two entrants in the boys’ regional meet.
