Linda Lou Duvall Beasley, Brownsville

Linda Lou Duvall Beasley, 81, of Brownsville died Saturday, October 25, 2025 at her home surrounded by family and friends.

The Edmonson County native was a seamstress, former owner of B&B Market and was saved at an early age and became a member of Independence (Slate Bank) General Baptist Church. She loved to sew, read, work in her flower bed and can food. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and the time she spent with them were some of her happiest moments. She was a daughter of the late Arthur Duvall and Dollie Lindsey Blair.

She was preceded in death by a brother, James Duvall; three sisters, Carmon Duvall, Anna Lee Adkins and Maggie Reddish Murray; and a son-in-law, Jack Abrams.

Linda leaves to honor her memory two sons, James Beasley and Joseph “Joey” Beasley (Doiss) both of Brownsville; a daughter, Peggy Abrams of Brownsville; two granddaughters, Lacey and Nikola Beasley both of Brownsville; three special grandchildren, Brooklynn Hollingsworth, Porter Curtsinger and Connor Curtsinger all of Bardstown; four brothers, Johnny Duvall (Debbie), Carlton Duvall (Sandy), Charles Blair and Doug Duvall all of Brownsville; five sisters, Peggy Hardin of Brownsville, Thelma Alford (Ronnie) of Bowling Green, Lucille Colonna (Greg) of Centertown, Della Irby (Danny) of Prospect and Vernita Sharp (Kendall) of Louisville; and many special friends and loved ones.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Slate Bank Cemetery. Visitation will take place 1:00-7:00 PM Tuesday and after 9:00 AM Wednesday.
