Carolyn Jean (Capps) Reynolds, of Glasgow, Kentucky, formerly of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2025, at T.J Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, Kentucky having attained the age of 67 years, 3 months, and 6 days. She was born in New Albany, Indiana on Friday July 18, 1958, a daughter of Horace Capps & Reba Evelyn (Teel) Capps. She was of the Christian faith and worked as a CNA for Cumberland Valley Manor. She found great enjoyment in reading, crocheting, watching TV, and cooking. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Burns.
She is survived by her children, Jerra (& Christian) Miller of Celina, Ohio and Trista Reynolds of Burkesville, Kentucky; siblings, Teresa McGill (& Steve) of Denton Texas, Doug (& Lisa) Capps of Russell Springs, Kentucky and Tammy C. Thurman of Louisville, Kentucky; grandchildren, Abel Baldwin, Serenity Moore, and Maverick Miller.
The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 1:00 P.M CST in the Memory Chapel at Norris-New Funeral Home with memories and reflections shared by her sister Teresa McGill and other family members. The family will receive friends starting at 11:00 A.M CST until the funeral hour. Burial will be at Myers Ridge Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky.
