Peggy S. Brownfield, age 82, of Cave City, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at her home. She was a member of the Cave City Christian Church. Peggy loved to do crafts, sewing, doing puzzle books, and watching TV. She loved Chinese food, and chocolate.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Buster Steve Slaughter, and Ruth N. Slaughter; her husband, Phillip Brownfield.
She is survived by her caregiving family, Ken and Debbie Moulder, Amanda, Kyle, Adriana, and Raven Logsdon, Aaron, Claire, Alba, and Emery Moulder, Lesia and Don Minton; and the TJ Family that came to see her through physical therapy; two daughters, Alys Howard (Tim), Cattie Fitzgerald; and her grandchildren.
A graveside service honoring Peggy’s life will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 1:00PM, at the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Winn Funeral Home, from 10:00AM to 12:30PM.
