Barbara Ann Clark. Brownsville

Barbara Ann Clark, age 77 of Louisville, died Friday, September 19, 2025 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. The Edmonson County native was born on June 26, 1948 to the late Dewey Paul and Hazel Vincent Lashley. She was married to her devoted husband, James E. “Jimmy” Clark, Sr., until they were parted by his passing.

Barbara devoted her life to nurturing her family, creating a loving and supportive home as a dedicated homemaker. She was a cherished member of Poplar Spring United Baptist Church, where her faith and kindness touched those around her. In her moments of rest, Barbara found joy in the pages of a good book, the timeless stories of western films, and friendly games on her iPad, embracing each day with warmth, curiosity, and a caring spirit.

She is survived by her son, James E. Clark, Jr. (Kathleen) of Canmer; grandchildren, Kimberly Rhodes (Brandy), Therissie Clark (Tyler Hobbs), Sarah Clark (Brandon Burdsall), Zander, Logan, Aydan and Lillian Clark; great-grandchildren, Killian and Liam Burdsall and her brother, Garry Lashley (Susan).

Besides her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her infant sisters, Linda, Vickie and Betty Lashley.

Funeral services for Barbara Ann Clark will be held at 1PM Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Patton Funeral Home Brownsville Chapel with interment  in Poplar Spring Church Cemetery. Visitation from 11 AM  to PM, Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Patton Funeral Home Brownsville Chapel

Memorial contributions can be made to the Poplar Spring Cemetery Fund.
