Ruby Mildred Cundiff, age 90, died peacefully at her residence in Glasgow, Kentucky, on September 19, 2025. She was born on October 15, 1934, in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, to the late John Rector and the late Clemmie (Stargel) Rector. She spent her life dedicated to her family and home, embodying the virtues of a loving housewife.
Ruby is remembered fondly for her nurturing spirit and devotion to her loved ones. She leaves behind her son, Randy Cundiff, who cherished her greatly and will carry forward her legacy of love. Her grandson, Bobby Miller, along with her great-grandchildren, Korbin Miller and Emberlyn Miller, are among those who will forever hold dear the memories of their time with her. Also surviving her are her great-great-grandchild, Elysia Miller, who represented the joy and continuation of her family line.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Lenny Travis Cundiff, and her sister-in-law, Martha Cundiff. The loss of these family members has left a profound mark on her life, shaping the compassionate and resilient individual she became.
Her family has honored her wishes of cremation under the direction of A.F. Crow and Son Funeral Home.
