Mr. Joseph Dudley “Joey” Gray Sr. 64 of Burkesville, Kentucky, died Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Signature Healthcare in Glasgow, Kentucky. He was born in Burkesville, Kentucky on Sunday, September 18, 1960, a son of Dudley & Becky (Keen) Gray. He served in the U.S. Army as a civil engineer. In his later years, he worked as a heavy equipment operator.
He was preceded in death by his mother, nephew, Taylor Gray, and many other relatives.
He is survived by his father, Dudley Gray of Burkesville, Kentucky; mother of his children, Sharee Fields of Edmonton, Kentucky; children, Tenisha Gray (& George) of Horse Cave, Kentucky, Joseph Gray ll (& Jennifer) of Burkesville, Kentucky; siblings, Eric Gray (& Sherri) of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Donna Laha (& Keith) of Louisville, Kentucky, John David Gray of Burkesville Kentucky, Sandra Endris (& Mike) of New Albany, Indiana, Laura Abernathy (& Randy) of Glasgow, Kentucky; special grandchildren, Shaylee Franklin, Zoe Gray, Ivory Soukup, and special caregiver, Jennifer Wolford and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM C.S.T. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Shelley officiating. The family will receive friends after 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 20 at the funeral home.
