Carroll “Steve” Steven Miller, born on October 25, 1957, in Glasgow, Kentucky, died peacefully at his residence in Glasgow on September 14, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and deep family values that will be cherished by all who knew him.
Steve dedicated many years to serving his community as an auto mechanic, where he honed his skills and made many friends along the way. His passion extended beyond automotive repair to carpentry, where he found joy in creating and working with his hands. Not only did he excel in his crafts, but he also relished the moments spent racing cars, which brought him much excitement and fulfillment. A man of profound faith, Steve found solace in talking about God and valued the time spent with his family and friends. His personality was warm and inviting, making those around him feel valued and loved. He was surrounded by a close-knit family that imbued his life with joy.
He is survived by his beloved children, Misty Miller (Michael Harrison), Latosha Tucker, Alicia Miller, Carroll Miller Jr., Ernist Miller (Tapanga), Adam Miller, Joshua Miller, and Christopher Nay (Les); his siblings, Howard Miller, Victoria Settles, and Anthony Goode; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He now joins his parents, Ernist Miller and Barbara Jones Brown; his beloved wife, Sandra Shirley Miller; and his siblings, Peggy Hiser, Melissa Miller, Tina Duvall, and Wade Miller in eternal rest.
Visitation will be held on September 19, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM, both taking place at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home in Glasgow, Kentucky. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Happy Valley Memorial Gardens.
