Laura Faye Fox Isenberg Ford, Tompkinsville

Mrs. Laura Faye (Fox) Isenberg Ford, age 64, of Tompkinsville, Kentucky died Friday, September 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Laura was born in Tompkinsville, on October 28, 1960, a daughter of the late Norman and America (Holland) Fox. She was a 1978 Graduate of Gamaliel High School, on May 26, 1978, she married Joel Davis Isenberg, he preceded her in death on July 3, 1997. On July 25, 1998, she married Jeffery Ford, who survives.

Laura retired from Walmart, after twenty years of service. She was a faithful member of Flippin Church of Christ. Laura enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling with her family and watching The Young and the Restless.

She is survived by her husband of twenty-seven years, Jeffery Ray Ford of Tompkinsville, three children, Jessica Woods, of Gamaliel, Zack Isenberg, of Glasgow, and Tabitha Strong and husband Wesley of Tompkinsville; seven grandchildren, Ryan Strong and wife Carlee, Aubrey Woods and Fiancé Tyler Ethridge, Mattie Woods, Mason Woods, Cole Isenberg, America Isenberg, and Mallory Strong and one great-grandchild, Nova Strong; her siblings, Linda Dicken, Nelda Ritchie, Kitty Turner, Doyle Fox, Rodney Fox,  Danny Fox and wife Earline, Tony Fox and wife Geraldine, Neal Fox and wife Laura; her mother-in-law, Judith Ford, and three sisters in law, Ruth Fox,  Joyce Emberton and husband Jeromy, and Donna Law and husband James and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and the father of her children, Joel Davis Isenberg, two sisters, Myra Long and Pamela Fox, two brothers, Dewayne and Terry Fox, three sisters in law, Joyce, Peggy, and Shelia Fox, and brothers in law, Willie Long, JE Dicken, Cecil Ritchie, Randy Smith, and Ricky Turner.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, September 15, 2025, from Bartley & Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with burial to follow in Isenberg Cemetery. Shane McPherson will officiate the service.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 14, 2025, and again on Monday morning after 7:00 a.m. until the service time at Noon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Backpack Program, or The Hope Lodge.
