Senate Joseph Duvall, 87, of Sunfish died Thursday, September 4, 2025 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Edmonson County native was a farmer and a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He was a son of the late Elisha Thomas “Lishe” Duvall and Maggie Lashley Duvall and the husband of the late Linda Rose Grant Duvall.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Ben Owens; four sisters, Liz, Nannie, Gertie and Alma; and three brothers, Dallas, Paul and Sherman.
Surviving are a daughter, Jill Duvall (Ronnie) of Glasgow; two sons, Jack Duvall (Joy) and Senate Duvall Jr. (Kim) both of Sunfish; six grandchildren, Brandon Ashley (Callie), Brittany Sowders (Derek), Savannah Mahaney (Corey), Chase Duvall (Kelcy), Tyler Duvall (Hollie) and Emalee Duvall; 17 great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral mass will be held at 5:00 PM Sunday, September 7, 2025 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Visitation will take place 1:00-7:00 PM Saturday at Gravil Funeral Home. Rosary service will be held at 6:00 PM Saturday.
