Charles Leon ‘Butch’ Webb, Brownsville

Charles Leon “Butch” Webb, age 67 of Alvaton, died Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. The Edmonson County native was born on November 21, 1957 to the late Charles L. and Frances Tunks Webb. He was married to his devoted wife of forty-two years, Pam Renfro Webb, who survives.

Butch dedicated more than forty-five years of his life to the demanding and honorable work of coal mining and operating heavy equipment for Vulcan Materials. His unwavering commitment and work ethic were a testament to his character and resilience. He was a member of Beaver Dam United Baptist Church, where he once served as the Sunday School Superintendent. Outside of work, Butch found joy and peace in tending to his garden, fishing, and marveling at the wonders of construction through YouTube videos. Above all, Butch’s greatest pride was his family, whom he loved deeply and supported wholeheartedly.

Besides his wife, Pam, he is survived by his sons, Austin Webb (Jayla) of Owensboro and Jeremy Webb (Amanda) of Brownsville; two grandsons, Parker and Clayton Webb; siblings, Sharon Luttrell (Jim) of Brownsville, Jo Stewart (Wayne) and Guy Walter “George” Webb (Regina) all of Sweeden; mother-in-law, Judy Houchin Renfro of Brownsville and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Charles Leon “Butch” Webb will be held at
11 AM Friday, September 5, 2025 at Beaver Dam United Baptist Church with interment in Beaver Dam Church Cemetery.

Visitation from 4 to 7 PM Thursday, September 4, 2025 at Patton Funeral Home Brownsville Chapel and 9 to 11 AM Friday, September 5, 2025 at Beaver Dam United Baptist Church
