Tommy Wayne McMillan, 74, of Tompkinsville died Sunday, August 24, 2025 suddenly at his home. He worked as a Ferry Operator for the Kentucky Highway Department in Tompkinsville.
Tommy was born in Monroe County, Kentucky on August 22, 1951, a son of the late Maxine (Coe) and Reed McMillan. He married Judy Grinestaff Thompson on October 24,1985 in Tompkinsville, KY.
Along with his parents, Tommy is preceded in death by his sister, Rebecca Hansen.
Tommy is survived by his wife of almost 40 years, Judy McMillan; two daughters, Jeanne McMillan, of Tompkinsville and Jaime McMillan, of Glasgow; one son, Jarrod McMillian, of Gamaliel; step-daughter, Tammy Baxter, of Tompkinsville; step-son, Christopher Thompson, of Shelbyville; one grandchild, Keely Poland; three step grandchildren, Dalton and Berklie Thompson, and Blake Baxter, and one step great grandchild, Fallon Baxter.
Graveside services for Tommy Wayne McMillan will be held at 2PM Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Harlan’s Crossroads Cemetery. Visitation will be at the cemetery from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday. Arrangements are under the direction of Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
