Timmie Lee Jones, Glasgow

Timmie Lee Jones, born on January 26, 1963, in Glasgow, Kentucky, died on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at TJ Samson Community Hospital. His life was one marked by warmth, kindness, and a profound connection to his family and friends. Timmie loved to take a ride in the truck, bowling & to ride bikes with his nieces. He kept up with everyone’s phone and IPads making sure you had them before you left the room. He loved watching Gun Smoke and Price is Right (Always repeating “Come on Down”). He loved to color, do crossword puzzles, Connect Four Checkers, Chinese Checkers and Mr Potato Head. Most of all he loved everyone and loved to talk to anyone about everything.

Timmie was the beloved son of Willie Sam Jones and Mary Louise Jones, both of whom preceded him in death. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will be held dear by those who knew him.

He is survived by his devoted brothers, James Jones (Jackie) and Willie Jones (Shelia), whose bonds will forever serve as a testament to their close-knit relationship; his nieces, including Jamie Moore (Tony), Julie Shipp (Jonathon), Jessica Harper (Dustin), Tiffany Gray (Will), and Nikki Jones (Jeremy Brown).

Timmie’s family extended into the next generation, as he adored his nieces and nephews; Juliann King (Wesley), Cash Moore, Josey Moore, Jones Moore, Cruz Moore, Jaylee Shipp, Journey Shipp, Jolie Shipp, Trenton Shipp, Hayden Dean, Raelyn Harper, Riggs Harper, Stella Harper, Saylor Gray and Eli Gray. Each one brought joy and pride to his life.

In addition to his family, Timmie shared a unique bond with special friends Jacob Troyer, Andrew Troyer, and Brey Bewley, who were significant parts of his journey through life.

The funeral service for Timmie Lee Jones will be at 1:00 PM  Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at A.F Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Poplar Log Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at A.F Crow & Son Funeral Home.

The family invites all who knew Timmie to join them to celebrate his life.
