Betty J. Horton age 78 of Munfordville died Thursday morning, August 21 at the Medical Center at Caverna. She was born in the White Star community of Hart County on January 18, 1947. She attended Mt. Gilead Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mace & Ora Horton; a son ,Troy Woodcock; a brother, Bobbie Mattingly and her sisters Patricia “Sissy” Newton, Rose “Jinkie” Howard, Clara Horton, Mami Blocker and Wilma Self.
Betty is survived by her sons, Israel Bergenson, Galvin Horton & Waylon Horton; four grandchildren Autumn Mitchell, Chad Bergenson, Gabriel Horton & Isabella Stinson; three great-grandchildren, Channing Bergenson, Emry Bergenson & Millie Mitchell; one brother, Donnie Horton and one sister, Lois Roof; several nieces & nephews also survive.
The funeral for Betty J. Horton will be held at 1pm Sunday, August 24 in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Lewis officiating. Burial will be in the Little Flock Cemetery.
Visitation for will be Saturday, August 23 from 3-8pm and after 9am Sunday at the Sego Funeral Home.
