Bobby Eugene Burgess 73, Glasgow, died Tuesday August 19, 2025, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. He was a son of the late Haskel Burgess and Vic C. Agers Burgess. He was retired from Barren County Board of Education. He was a dedicated bus driver for over 40 years. Bobby loved working on the farm and tinkering with his tractors.
He is survived by his son Steven Burgess (Melinda); four grandchildren, Chase Dyer, Hunter Walden, Lane Burgess (Candace) and Logan Walden (Jessica); five great-grandchildren and nephew Harold Brown (Melissa).
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter Denise Michelle Burgess; sister, Katherine Brown; brother in-law, Bobby Brown and niece Judy McCoy.
Funeral services for Bobby Eugene Burgess will be held 11:00am Saturday August 23, 2025 at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Tracy Church Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
