Connie Harper Turner Frick, Tompkinsville

Connie Harper Turner Frick, age 95, of Mahomet, Illinois, formerly of Monroe County, died Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Piatt County Nursing Home. Connie was born on May 3, 1930, in Glasgow, Kentucky, the daughter of Rufus and Ruby Stephens Harper. She married Kenneth Turner on February 7, 1946, in Anderson, Alabama. He died on August 21, 1976. She later married Orville Frick on November 8, 1987, in Rantoul. He died on October 6, 2017. Connie was a longtime member of Grace Church and volunteered at 10,000 Villages for many years. She also enjoyed playing Bunco with her friends and was a world champion Bingo player.

She is survived by  two sisters, Libby Harper of Tompkinsville and Jean Bunch of Edmonton;  seven children and stepchildren, Gary Turner and wife Gena,  Kevin Turner and wife Kathy , Cheryl Burk and husband Greg, Brenda White and husband Mark, Mike Frick and wife Sharon,  Theresa Berry and husband Mark, Steve Frick and wife Tina and 15 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, and spouses, she is preceded in death by one brother, Rene Harper, and one sister, Pernie Goolsby.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at Indian Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Neal Cemetery in Flippin. Bro. Gene Gearlds will officiate the services.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, at the Indian Creek Baptist Church.
