Former Barren County softball player Katie Murphy was one of 13 WKU softball players named all-America scholar athletes.
The NFCA revealed its Easton Top 10 GPAs for its collegiate divisions recently, with Hilltopper softball tying for the sixth-best GPA in the country. The Hilltoppers posted a cumulative GPA of 3.740 for the 2024-2025 school year and tied with Eastern Illinois who WKU played earlier this February.
In addition to Top 10 GPA announcement, 13 WKU athletes were named Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athletes: Murphy, who just finished her freshman season, Delainey Bargfrede, Jenna Blanton, Anniston Bray, Randi Drinnon, Macy Gregor, Charlotte Herron, Erica Houge, Kaytlan Kemp, Maci Masters, Rylan Smith, Kennedy Stinson and Kendle White.
