Hazel Heath

Hazel Heath age 93 of Upton passed away Monday, July 21st at her home. She was born on the Hart County side of Upton on June 17, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Rudolph Turner and Thelma Bennett.

Hazel was a clerk for the Hammonsville voting precinct many years until she had to quit due to health reasons. She was a member of the Honey Run Homemakers Club, the Moonlight Prominators Square Dance Club and Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. She loved her family and cherished time spent with them.

She was preceded in death by her husbands William Thomas Heath, Sr. and Kenneth Meredith and by one daughter Teresa Huff.

Hazel is survived by her children Shirley Hatfield(Jerry), Bill Heath(Rita), Tommy Heath(Tijuana) & Denesa Sullivan; step-children Martin Meredith, Mark Meredith(Anna), Michael Meredith(Marsha) & Rocky Barth(Frances); Grandchildren Christie Wheeler(Casey), Chase Clark, Amy Roten(Jason), T.J. Heath(Tonuea),

Sheena Huff, Trina Warden(Jimmy), Amberly Huguley(John) & Patrick Crowe(Jennifer); great-grandchildren Kaitlyn Wheeler(Jarett), Austin Wheeler, Ashlee Cheek(Micah), Alyssa Clark, Alexia Clark, Autumn Ledbetter(Dalton), Athena Thompson(Noah), Atley Roten, Kennedy Heath, Lane Heath, Payton Heath, Allyson Copeland, Madelyn Copeland, Keilyn Jones, Trent Warden, Braydon Crowe, Kamden Crowe & Barton Crowe;

Great-great-grandkids Ezra and two more expected that Hazel was excited about.

The funeral service for Hazel Heath will be held 1pm Saturday in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Joe Foster & Bro. Everett Priddy officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 2-8pm and after 10am Saturday at Sego Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Hammonsville Cemetery.
