Sarah went home to the Lord on July 8, 2025 exactly one month from her 88th birthday. She resided in Glasgow, Kentucky and attended Glasgow Bible Church. She was a 1955 graduate of Washington Park High School in Racine, Wisconsin. During those years she was known as Sally
Manderfield.
July 1958, she married Phil Uebe. They had three sons: Phillip (Linda), David, and Paul (Christine). Sarah loved and enjoyed several grandchildren, great grandchildren, those that called her gramma or G-maw, and relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed. She met Dick Kudia and together they hiked many miles, often in the state of Washington. After retiring from Ruud Lighting, they moved to Sequim, Washington in July 1999. They enjoyed being in the mountains and spending time with wildlife. A family of goats visiting them on a lunch break was a favorite memory of theirs.
In 2013, Sarah and Dick moved to Glasgow, Kentucky to be closer to family. Sarah loved playing bridge with her good friends. She was a huge Green Bay Packer fan; on game days you would find her decked out in green and gold.
In accordance with her wishes, no funeral service will be held. Family suggests reflecting on your favorite “Sarah memory.”
