Frances Elaine Wray, 77, of Glasgow died Monday, July 7, 2025, at Compassionate Care Center in Richmond.
Born on May 13, 1948, in Burkesville, Frances was the daughter of the late Jessie James Bow and Euldean Bessie Bow. She spent most of her life in Glasgow, where she was known for her kindness, bright smile, and deep love for her family and community.
Frances retired from NHC in Glasgow, where she greeted visitors with warmth and care from the front desk for many years. She had a passion for growing flowers and creating beautiful bouquets. She cherished every moment spent with her family and was a devoted member of Glenview Christian Church, where she actively served her church family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Thomas Wray.
Survivors include her daughter, Amy L. Gregg, and son-in-law, Robert S. Gregg; and their daughters, Taylor O. Gregg, Kalee E. Gregg and Emma K. Gregg; her daughter, Amanda B. Wray, and Amanda’s children, Turner W. Klapeke and Mabel D. Klapeke; and her brother, James B Bow, and his family.
A memorial service is from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, July 10, 2025, Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. Flowers are welcome, as are contributions to be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Frances.
