Anna Delores Womack Moody, age 90, of Bowling Green passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at her residence. She was born on January 25, 1935 in Chandlers Chapel, KY to the late Aaron Clark and Elsie Grace O’Dell Womack and is also preceded in death by Leonard Earl McCool (Son); David Robert Tilley (Son-in-law); Jonathan Travis Smith (Grandson); Aaron Ashley Nicole Nifong (Granddaughter); Tonya Lynn Scantland (Granddaughter). Delores retired from Holley Carburetor and was a lifetime member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Alicia Jeannette McCool-Tilley of Arkansas and two sons, Robert Keith (SeRina) Moody and Aaron William Terry (Deborah) Moody of Bowling Green. Her sister Dora (Kenneth) Doyle also of Bowling Green; Grandchildren Zachary (Jessica) Tilley of Arkansas; Ricky Scantland and Daniel (Catherine) Scantland of Bowling Green; April Brown of Glasgow; Christopher Moody of Bowling Green; Amanda (Jerome) Bellis of Florida and Elizabeth (David) Allen of Virginia. She was a also a loving great-grandmother.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday and 9:00 am to 11:00 am Friday, all at the J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Friday at the J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel with burial to follow at the Felts Cemetery in Logan County.
