Joyce Elaine Thompson Hogue

Mrs. Joyce Elaine Thompson Hogue, daughter of the late Leon and Alma Thompson, was born on May 5, 1946, and entered into her heavenly home on June 3, 2025.  She was 79 years, 29 days of age.  She is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Phillip Hogue, of Glasgow, Kentucky. She also leaves behind her special fur baby, Little Lady.  She had made a profession of faith in Christ at a young age and attended Grider Memorial Baptist Church.

Joyce spent many years working in nursing facilities and later provided cleaning services to numerous clients.  She was also an avid bowler often playing in tournaments close to home as well as in surrounding states. Joyce and Phil loved eating out, which they did daily. They also enjoyed taking trips together.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by double first cousins, Jeania Miller (Mel), of Campbellsville, and Richard Thompson (Margie), of Glasgow, as well as special cousins Darla and Dale Decker of Greensburg. She is also survived by a brother-in-law, Jimmy Hogue, and wife, Betty, of Alvaton, and a sister-in-law, Judy Goodrum and husband Mike, of Scottsville; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends.

Funeral services for Joyce Elaine Thompson Hogue will be conducted 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home, in Glasgow with Rev. Jimmy Hogue officiating.  Burial will follow in the Little Barren Cemetery in Green County, Kentucky. Visitation will be on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
