Wilton Lucille Stewart

Wilton Lucille Stewart, 88, of Glasgow, died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at her daughter’s home in Mexico City. Born in Barren County on November 28, 1936, she was the eldest daughter of the late Roger Paul and Vivian Thomas Williams. Wilton Stewart was a Purchasing Agent of automotive parts and components for over 35 years at TRW. She was a member of Coral Hill Baptist Church, and in later years Temple Baptist Church. She was active in the Glasgow Newcomers Club, where she was the historian for years, and was also involved in various other community clubs and groups in Glasgow. She loved to travel and go on cruises. Wilton was known for her smile that would light up a room and her caring personality that radiated to everyone she came in contact with.

She is survived by her daughter, Ria Lynn Stewart and her husband Rafael Santamaria; 7 nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and nephews, and 19 great-great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Wanda LaVerne Shirley and Pauletta Joyce Bragg.

A memorial service for Mrs. Stewart will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 1, 2025, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Sunday, June 1, 2025, from 12:00 PM until time for the service at the funeral home.
