Skip Ray Campbell

Skip Ray Campbell, 80, of Glasgow, passed away Monday, May 12, 2025, at Tristar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, surrounded by his loving family. Skip was born in Campbellsville, Kentucky, on January 3, 1945, to the late Glenn Campbell and the late Claudia Campbell.

Skip was a co-owner and employer at Campbell, Myers, and Rutledge accounting firm for 57 years. Skip was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was an avid golfer and was skilled at many activities, including fly fishing, archery, woodworking, and jewelry making. Skip had many talents and hobbies, but his most treasured time was spent with his family and friends. Skip was known for his dedication to his work, but always made time for his wife, children, and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Jan Campbell; children, Lisa Wheeler, Jason Campbell (Bridget), Lori Rush (Randy), and Ron Lafferty (Melissa); grandchildren, Railey Rush, Emily Campbell, Lauren Campbell, Daniel Lyons, Jay Williams, and Stella Williams.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Clodean, Bardria, Ransell, and Shannon.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or BRAWA.

The funeral service for Mr. Campbell will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, May,16, 2025, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and after 8:00 AM, Friday at the funeral home.
