Johnny Ray Nunn II, age 53, of Horse Cave, KY, passed away Friday, April 11, 2025, at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was a mechanic for Odell Robertson. He enjoyed dirt track racing , which he wasn’t very good at and fishing, which he was just okay.
He is the son of late Johnny Ray Nunn, Sr.
He is preceded in death by his uncle, Arlene Nunn.
He is survived by his wife; Linda Anderson Nunn; three daughters, Brittany Slyfield, Jessie Slyfield, Page Slyfield; four sons, James Dalton Nunn, Horse Cave, KY, Johnny Ray Nunn III, Uno, KY, Michael Wayne Slyfield, and Eric John Slyfield; 20 grandchildren; three sisters, Tina, Jennifer, and Malinda; one brother, Gary Finn; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family also survive.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM- 2:00 PM CT on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM CT on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home. Cremation will follow.
