James Robert Lemons

James “Baby” Robert Lemons, age 77, of Glasgow, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at his residence in Glasgow, Kentucky. He was born in Glasgow, Kentucky, on September 26, 1947, to the late Floyd Thomas Lemons and the late Mamie England Lemons. James proudly served his country in the US Army and is a Vietnam Veteran.

James is survived by his daughter, Sandra Myatt; son, James “Jim” Robert Lemons Jr.; five grandchildren, Emily Lessenberry (Josh), Laura Lutterman, Kaira Lemons Tamplain (Neil), Kain Lemons (Cayla), and Kassidy Lemons; seven great grandchildren, Daisey Lessenberry, Travis Mutter, Luke DeWeese, Lily Lessenberry, Charlee Kliebert, Karter Lemons, Kooper Tamplain, and soon to arrive, Kannan Lemons; brother, Kenny Ford; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Payne Lemons; son, Jamie Lemons; siblings, Gary Ford, June Lemons, and Judy Ford; grandchildren, Kaleigh Lemons, Kayla Lemons, and Kaitlynn Lemons; and great grandchild, Karsen Lemons.

The funeral service for Mr. Lemons will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 14th at A.F. Crow and Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery, with military honors provided by the DAV Glasgow Chapter #20. Visitation will be from noon Tuesday until time for the service at the funeral home.
