Barren County native, Emily England, is excited to be the co-founder of Dream Lovers Publishing.  This relatively new venture that stokes England’s passion for books made its debut in her home county last night, at a book signing for an author the company represents, Elizabeth Moseley. Moseley is a graduate of Georgetown University, and her book produced by Dream Lovers Publishing is called The Garden in the Glen.

This is one of two publications produced by Dream Lovers Publishing thus far.

The idea for the publishing company came to England and co-founder Molly Creamer while they were living in Miami.  Both have production backgrounds in the arts, and people were reaching out to Molly with enquiries about the publishing process.
England and Creamer both state their undying love of books, and saw an opportunity to combine passion and practicality to make a business platform to help writers.

“We are small and independent.  We published our first adult contemporary book, You Scream, We All Scream and it felt like a good fit for us. Traditional publishers require literary agents, and representatives, making it hard for writers to get their foot in the door,” England said.

The idea of Dream Lovers Publishing it to take the mystery and difficulty out of the process. They do this by providing a variety of services from ghostwriting and formatting to cover art and marketing.  Their offering encompass all needs an author might have to take a creative idea to the reality phase.

“We like to work with each author on an individual basis. Our goal is to empower any author we can,” England said. Their motto is “a book’s life lasts forever” so working with writers to revive old works is part of their goal.  Another motto they have is “it all begins with an idea”, so if have an idea, contact them.
