Mr. Paris Hugh Kennedy, formerly of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024, at his residence in Richmond, Kentucky, having attained the age of 86 years, 7 months, and 24 days. He was born in Albany, Kentucky on Friday, January 14, 1938, the son of Wilburn Esco & Bessie (Glidewell) Kennedy. He was a Methodist, a member of Albany First Methodist Church, a Mason, and a retired insurance salesman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Alice (Lane) Kennedy, whom he wed on Thursday, March 16, 1972.
He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Massingill, (& Danny) Shearer of Richmond, Kentucky, grandson, Kyle Edward (& Brittney) Massingill, great-granddaughter, Kyleigh Massingill, several cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many friends.
The funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. C.S.T. in The Memory Chapel of the Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. David Stearns officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, beginning at 11:00 a.m. C.S.T. in The Memory Chapel until the funeral hour.
Masonic rites will be performed during visitation by Albany Masonic Lodge #206 F&A.M. Burial will be in The Memorial Hill Cemetery in Albany, Kentucky.
