Kathrynn Dooley and Dylan Black have qualified for the National Archery in School Program Worlds Open Championship.
Kathrynn qualified with a score of 283 out of 300 and Dylan qualified with a score of 290 out of 300, a career high for him. Dylan was ranked 71st out of 2,500 high school boys at the national competition and Kathrynn was ranked 185th out of 2400 high school girls. Dylan will represent Barren Beyond the Bell, BC Archery, and Barren County High School on Friday, June 7 at 11:00 AM in Daytona, Florida.
The National Archery in Schools Program (NASP) World Open Championship is an exciting event that brings together talented student archers from around the globe. Qualifying for this prestigious championship is a significant achievement for students, showcasing their dedication and skill in the sport of archery. Students who aspire to compete in the NASP World Open Championship must first participate in local, state, and national archery competitions with qualifying individual scores.
Dylan will represent Barren Beyond the Bell, BC Archery, and Barren County High School on Friday, June 7, in Daytona, Florida.
