Mrs. Wilma Perry Rone, age 78, of Bowling Green, KY passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at her residence.
Funeral services are scheduled to be conducted on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 2:00pm at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Visitation with the family will begin at 9:00am until time of service at 2:00pm. Burial will take place in Bowling Green Gardens on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 3:00pm.
Wilma was born May 20, 1946 in Warren County, KY to the late Pellie Perry and the late Inez Rather Perry. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Perry and Lewis Perry; one sister, Lila Steiner; one half-sister, Jewell Woods and one half-brother, Murrell Perry.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, Freddie Rone; three daughters, Leigh Ann Russell (Tim) of Glasgow, KY, Lisa Michelle Gregory (Jesse) of Bowling Green, KY, Tiffany Rone (James Carter) of Bowling Green, KY; one son, Frederic Rone II of Bowling Green, KY; four grandchildren, George Gary Boyd, Wendi Dawn Boyd, Felix Borden (Carrie), Mary Wells (Carl Ray, Jr.); seven great-grandchildren, Hailey Boyd, Bailey Boyd, Gabriella Boyd, Quentin Wells, Skylynn Wells, Addie Rose Rone, and Christopher J. Burris; five step-great-grandchildren, Amelia King, Evelyn King, Braelyn Ray Rayner, Justin Rayner , and Emilee Carter; one sister, Shirley Sanders of Bowling Green, KY; three sister-in-laws and five brother-in-laws. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Wilma was a member of Ray’s Branch Community Church and worked for Bell South and Houchins Industries for twenty years.
