Glasgow senior Zach Poore signs letter of intent to play collegiate baseball at Danville Area Community College

GLASGOW – On Wednesday, joined by family members and teammates, Zach Poore signed his letter of intent to play collegiate baseball at Danville Area Community College.

Poore finished his senior season batting a .366 average with 34 hits, 3 home runs, 22 RBI’s, and was walked 17 times. Zach also started 4 games on the mound, pitching 8.2 innings with a 4.85 ERA, while striking out 12 batters and walking 8.

“I’m feeling great,” said Poore. “I just feel like Danville was the place for me. I feel like it’ll set up a lot of opportunities down the road and that it’s a great place.” Zach also spoke to WCLU on his playing career at GHS. “It’s meant everything honestly. During Zach’s five-year playing career at GHS, he has been named to the 2021 and 2022 15th District All Tournament Team, 2023 All 4th Region 2nd Team, 2023 and 2024 15th District All-Season Team. He was also a member of the 2021 and 2022 15th District Championship Teams.
