Gary Wayne Hester, age 75, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at his home. He was a native of Cave City. Gary enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mural Hester; his parents; several brothers and sisters; and a grandson, Rayne Dearmond.
He is survived by his son, Roy Dale Mathis (Kristy); step daughter, Melody Dearmond (Robbie); 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at the Dunmor Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Dunmor, Kentucky.
