Carole Joan Ritter, age 93, passed away in Bowling Green, Kentucky, on April 25, 2024. She was born to the late Percy Byron and Eula Genevieve (Grace) Wendt in Mt. Veron, Illinois August 30, 1930.
Carole was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Belleville, Illinois. In her spare time she enjoyed playing bridge and was a member of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her two sons Mark Ritter, and wife Lisa, and Matt Ritter and wife Tammy. Four grandchildren; Matthew Ritter and wife Caroline, Paige Ritter, John Ritter, and James Ritter. Several extended family also survive.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation was chosen. Arrangements have been entrusted to the J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel.
