John D. Brooksher, age 80 of Russellville, Kentucky passed away Friday April 12th, 2024 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. He was born in Springfield, Tennessee on February 27th, 1944 to the late John D Brooksher Sr. and Louise Martin Brooksher. He was a Farmer, worked at Griffin industries, Enjoyed fishing and gardening and was of the Baptist faith.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by:

2 Sons ~ Kenneth Brooksher and wife Shannon ~ Russellville KY
Michael Brooksher and wife Penny ~ Adairville KY
1 Daughter ~ Beverly Rippy and husband Dan ~ Allensville KY
1 Brother ~ Everett Brooksher ~ Tennessee
5 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren
Funeral services for John D. Brooksher will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday April 16th 2024 at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Flint Redwine and Bro. Jimmy Gipson officiating with burial to follow in Jarrett Cemetery.
Visitation at the Funeral Home will be held Monday, April 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Tuesday from 8:00 AM until the service hour of 11:00 AM. Summers and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
