Nathaniel Dale “Red” Murray

Nathaniel Dale “Red” Murray, 67, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Monday, April 8th, at Monroe County Medical Center.

Red was born in Tompkinsville, KY on May 20, 1956, a son of the late Beatrice Vernell (Crowe) and Delmas Porter Murray.

On September 9, 1995, he married Pamela Jo Bean, in Gamaliel, KY.

He was a farmer, dairy farmer, and livestock trader.

Red is survived by his wife, Pamela Jo Murray, of Tompkinsville, KY; a daughter, Chelsea Jo Adwell, and husband, Scottie, of Tompkinsville, KY;  a son, Zach Bean, and companion, Anastasia Deckard, of Tompkinsville, KY; and two grandchildren.

Red is also survived by three sisters, Rebecca  Murphy, of Glasgow, KY;  Patricia Sheffield, of Tompkinsville, KY and Karen Jenkins, of Gamaliel, KY and a brother, Olen Murray, and wife, Teresa, of Gamaliel, KY.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 13th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow at Gamaliel Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday, 4:30-8:00 p.m. and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Red’s memory may be made to Gamaliel Cemetery.
