Jackie Lindsey, age 72, of Horse Cave, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at his home. He was a native of Hart County and retired from Green River Valley Water Company after 42 years of service. He loved fishing, hunting, and sports. Jackie also enjoyed playing basketball and softball for many years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Casey Lindsey and Lillian Susan Lindsey; one brother, Larry Lindsey; and one sister, Rowena Davis.

He is survived by his wife, Matilda Lindsey; seven children, Tammy Middleton (Nathan), Tina Compton (Kevin), Lee Lindsey (Angela), Ben Jones (Christy), Jeremy Jones, Rachel Forsythe (Brandon), and Josh Jones (Penny); 18 grandchildren, Mason Hunt, Madison Middleton, Morgan Middleton, Chris Page, Jackie Page, James Page, Sarah Compton, Addison Compton, Logan Lindsey, Desirae Lindsey, Izzy Jones, Max Jones, Dylan Jones, Alyisa Jones, Levi Jones, Willow Forsythe, Heather Bennett, and Whitney Jones; 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and three sisters, Nellie Gambrell, Patricia Caine, and Joyce Turner.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 P.M. on Friday, March 29, 2024 at Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Whickerville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Winn Funeral Home from 1-8 P.M. on Thursday, March 28, 2024 and from 8 A.M. until time of service on Friday.
