Glasgow senior David Dale signs letter of intent to play collegiate football at Aurora University

GLASGOW – On Thursday, surrounded by family members, teammates and coaches, GHS senior David Dale signed his letter of intent to play collegiate football at Aurora University.

“It’s been great,” said Dale. “I can only be thankful and say how grateful I am to be here. I wouldn’t trade this for the world.” Click and listen to the full interview below:

David has played a big role on the Glasgow Football team from 2020-23. During his time as a Scottie, David was named to the 2024 All SKY Conference 2nd Team Defense. He has also been a member of a number of team championships, including the 2020 and 2021 District Championships and a 2021 Region Championship.

“David’s grown and improved each of his four years here and he’s got a great opportunity to continue his education and do something in his life he enjoys doing,” said coach Jeff Garmon. Listen to WCLU’s full interview with head coach Jeff Garmon below:

The Spartans finished the 2023 with an impressive 11-1 overall record, averaging 53.25 points per game (scoring over 70 points five times) and 504.7 yards per game. Aurora University went into the NCAA Division III playoffs undefeated before falling to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in the second round, 56-35.
