Betty Jean “B.J.” Johnson, 65, of Glasgow, passed peacefully on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, after a short illness at The University of Louisville Hospital.  B.J. was born on November 27, 1958, the daughter of Paul Bryant Green, and Howard and Eula Mae (Francis) Woods who preceded her in death.

B.J. was a 1976 graduate of Barren County High School.  She loved animals of all kinds—especially dogs.  She leaves behind her furry companions, Pepper, and Princess.

Though she leaves this earth way too soon, her memory will live on in those she leaves behind.   Survivors include Son, Lucas Smith (Amanda) in Dover, TN; Grandson, Wyatt Smith; Sisters; Bernice Maness, Janice Thompson, Debbie Langshaw (Bruce Morrison), Enita Allen (Billy); Long-time companion, Billy Pedigo; Special friend, James Hicks; special nephew, Wayne Woods (Lisa); and several nieces and nephews.

B.J.’s wishes were to be cremated.  The staff of Hardy & Son Funeral Homes is honored to have been chosen to carry out B.J.’s wishes.
