Genell Manion Lyle, 85, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Scottsville, KY native was a retired mail carrier, former owner and operator of Lyle Upholstery, singer and pianist for The Lyles and member of Hickory Hill Global Methodist Church where she served as church pianist. She was a daughter of the late Brent Rudolph Manion and Lavenious Stinson Manion and wife of the late Bobby Dean Lyle.
She is survived by 1 son: Shane Lyle, Lexington, KY;
1 daughter: Shawn Wood and husband, Ronnie, Scottsville, KY;
1 brother: Dr. Kenny Joe Manion, Scottsville, KY;
4 grandchildren: Devin Wood, Andrew Wood, Chelsea Lyle and Hunter Morgan Lyle;
2 great grandchildren: Kindle Wood and Ayda Wood;
2 nieces: Robbie Jill Davis (Ricky) and Kelly Jo Manion.
She was preceded in death by 1 sister: Tressie Cornwell and 1 nephew: Mark Cornwell.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday at Goad Funeral Home with burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday and after 7:00 A.M. Monday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
