Margaret Clara Adams Engstrom, age 92 of Franklin, died Sunday, December 17, 2023 at her residence. Crafton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Cremation was chosen.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. A native of Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Elvis Adams and Margaret Mary Keller Adams. She was self employed as a greenhouse owner and operator. She was a member of Blackjack Baptist Church and enjoyed doing her yard work.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son – Mark Engstrom, brother – Lee Adams and companion for over 30 years – William “Bill” James.
Survivors include a daughter – Carm Ella Sanders of Franklin; sons – Terry Engstrom (Lynne) and Kurt Engstrom (Phyllis) both of Texas; siblings – Elvis Adams, Rosemary Novacek, Carmilla Theile, Ethel McLaughlin, Dwight Adams, Elvie Riley and Simon Adams; grandchildren – Brandon Shearin, Teresa Kaylor (Dave), Jeff Engstrom (Jesse), Megan Gill (Aubrey) and Nick Engstrom; 6 great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
