Laverne Willian, age 87 passed away on the morning of Saturday, November 25th at Hospice of Southern KY.
She was born at home in Hodgenville to the late Ruby Routt Rock & Roy Rock. Mrs. Willian was a homemaker and she was a member of the Boiling Springs Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kermit Willian, a son Rodney Willian, a grandson Allan Brent Miller; one sister Evelyn Catlett and by seven brothers Chester Rock, Roy Rock, Jr., Waller Daniel Rock, Calvin Rock, Alvin Rock, Wilmuth “Doc” Rock and Norman Rock.
Mrs. Willian is survived by two sons Tim Willian & his wife Lisa and Todd Willian; a daughter Karen Miller & her husband Bob; three grandchildren Laura Ong & her husband Han, Michael Willian & his wife Lauren and Andrew Willian & his wife Samantha; four great-grandchildren Noah Ong, Moses Ong, Joseph Ong and Ben Willian; three brothers Terry Lee Rock, Dale Rock & Wayne Rock; two sisters Juanita Shelton & Barbara Jean Hendricks.
The funeral service for Laverne Willian will be held at 11am Wednesday, November 29th at the Boiling Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff Eastham officiating. The burial will be in the Goodman Cemetery. The visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8pm CST and Wednesday from 8-10:30am at the Sego Funeral Home. The family request that memorials take the form of Gideon Bibles or to the Goodman Cemetery. These donations may be left at Sego Funeral Home.
