Sara Jo (Vinson) Turner, 70, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Thursday, October 5th, at Monroe County Medical Center.
Sara was born in Tompkinsville, KY on August 14, 1953, a daughter of the late Eva Lucille (Hackett) and Homer Tommy Lee Vinson.
Sara is survived by a sister, Betty Isenberg, of Tompkinsville, KY; a brother, Travis Vinson, and wife, Martha, of Gamaliel, KY; three sisters-in-law, Shirley Vinson, of Lafayette, TN; Alice Fay England, of Hestand, Ky and Emma Jean Vinson, of Tompkinsville, KY; four grandchildren, Dillon Thomas Turner, Dustin Tyler Turner, Eternity De’An Bray and Ethan Scott Turner, and four great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by a son, Christopher Wayne Turner, brothers, Harold Gray, Donald Ray and Comas Clay Vinson.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 8, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Bailey Cemetery. Bro. Gary Emberton will officiate the service.
Visitation is Saturday, 5-8 p.m. and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sara’s memory are suggested to Bailey Cemetery or funeral expenses.
