Marvin Elwood Chandler, 89, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY. The Scottsville, KY native was a retired employee of Dollar General Warehouse. He was a son of the late Edgar Little Chandler and Annie Vera Spears Chandler and husband of the late Nina Joyce Keen Chandler.
He is survived by 1 daughter: Laura Ann Nunn and Tommy, Scottsville, KY;
A special son: Tony Arnett, Scottsville, KY;
1 sister: Brenda Thomas, Bowling Green, KY;
1 sister-in-law: Myra Chandler, Scottsville, KY;
1 grandson: Ryan Lee Nunn.
He was preceded in death by 1 son: William Marvin Chandler; 3 brothers: Maxie Chandler, Eugene Chandler and James Chandler and 7 sisters: Marie Keith, Madalyn Woods, Doris Williams, Lois Keiser, Wanda DeSilva, Lelah May Sikes and Marveine Sikes.
Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon Friday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Carver officiating and burial in Mt. Union Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday and after 7:00 A.M. Friday at Goad Funeral Home.
