On Monday, Welch Packaging, a family-owned corrugated packaging company, announced the acquisition of AtCorr Packaging Products LLC., in Glasgow.
AtCorr was established in 2010 as a family-operated business. Through the determination of Mike Jones and Kenny Whitworth, the company decided to make investments and expand. Jones and Whitworth then sold the company to current owners Chris Hills, Chris Roderick, Jarrod Beliles, and Paul Virg with the knowledge that they could expand the business further. Virg, Beliles, and Hills will continue to lead AtCorr, with Beliles operating as General Manager. The fourth owner, Chris Roderick, will retire from the business.
The company has established a reputation for providing quality products and services to customers in Kentucky and its adjoining states. “We look forward to partnering with these strong industry veterans to serve and expand AtCorr’s customer base, as well as expand our cause with AtCorr’s associates” stated Scott Welch, President and CEO of Welch Packaging.
