(Scottsville, KY) Jacksonian Days Festival is quickly approaching in Scottsville.
On Saturday September 16th, Scottsville Police Department will sponsor the Kentucky Office of Highway Safety rollover simulator. This simulator will be on display at the Jacksonian Days Festival to show the importance of wearing your seatbelt.
The Kentucky seatbelt usage rate is 91.6% based on 2022 statistics. In 2021, 14,955 Kentucky lives were lost in motor vehicle crashes. Of that number approximately 50% were unrestrained.
