Mr. James “Jim” Harris of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023 at his home having attained the age of 81 years, 7 months and 16 days. He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Herbert Harris, Muriel Deckard, Clark Harris, Beulah Salings, and Ron Harris.
He is survived by his wife, Pansy (Bryant) Harris of Burkesville, Kentucky, children, Mitzi (& Dwight) Durbin of Mt. Washington, Kentucky, Sean (& Evette) Hardin of Shelbyville Kentucky, and Lori Aldridge of Bowling Green, Kentucky, siblings, Gary (& Linda) Harris of Sonora, Kentucky, grandchildren, Nicholas (& Tara) Durbin, Adam Vincent, Stephanie Durbin, Jacob Harden, Ashton Aldridge, and Kevin Harris, great-grandchildren, Kylie Durbin, and Connor Durbin
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home. Visitation will be at Norris New Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 beginning at 2:00 p.m. and will continue till the funeral hour.
