BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Athletics’ Fan Fest will join WKU’s annual Topper Fest for a campus-wide kickoff celebration on Friday, Aug. 18 beginning at 5:30 p.m. on South Lawn. The event is open to WKU students, faculty, staff and the Bowling Green community.
This family-friendly event will feature food trucks, local vendors, autographs with the Hilltoppers, an appearance by Big Red and a firework show to cap the night.
Downtown Band will perform live throughout the night and WKU Volleyball, Soccer and Football will sign autographs. Team posters will be available to take home and kids will be able to enjoy inflatables, yard games and more. There will also be a petting zoo hosted by the WKU Department of Agriculture and a football gear surplus sale at the event.
5:30 p.m. – Topper Fest Begins
5:30 – 6:30 p.m. – Soccer and Volleyball autographs
6:30 – 7:30 p.m. – Football autographs

WKU Soccer opens the season on Saturday, Aug. 5 with an exhibition at Chattanooga, and Topper Fest will be the night after their regular season home opener against Tennessee Tech (Thursday, Aug. 17, 7 p.m.).
WKU Volleyball begins its campaign with an exhibition at Kentucky on Aug. 17, with the home opener taking place at E.A. Diddle Arena on Tuesday, Aug. 29 against Belmont (6 p.m.).
Hilltopper Football opens the season with two straight home games, kicking off the 2023 campaign against South Florida on Saturday, Sept. 2 at 2:30 p.m.
