Mr. Michael Todd Taylor, age 58, of Glasgow, Kentucky formerly of Gamaliel, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. Todd was born in Glasgow, Kentucky on May 17, 1965, a son of Clarence Taylor and the late Jo Anna (McDonald) Taylor, he was a graduate of Gamaliel High School Class of 1983. Todd worked at Akebono for twenty-six years, he enjoyed spending time with his family on the lake and had a special love for his dogs.
He is survived by his father, Clarence Taylor of Gamaliel, a daughter, Tiffany Taylor and her companion, Jon Allen, of Louisville, his companion, Paula Button of Glasgow, and two brothers, Jon Taylor and wife Sarah of Tompkinsville, and David Taylor of Owensboro, he was also a father to Braden Kirkpatrick, Derrick Reece, Eric Reece, and Chandler Reece.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jo Anna (McDonald) Taylor, and one son, Mason Button.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at Bartley & Sons Gamaliel Chapel, with burial to follow in Gamaliel Cemetery. Bro. Mark Copass, and Kenneth Bell will officiate the services.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023, from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday morning from 8:00 until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.
