Emily (Claywell) Allen Shewmaker, of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky on Thursday, June 8, 2023, having attained the age of 52 years, and 10 months. She was born on Saturday, August 8, 1970 in Burkesville, Kentucky, the daughter of Lowell Edward “Eddie” Claywell, & Jeanne (Morgan) Claywell.
She was preceded in death, Lowell Edward “Eddie” Claywell and Jeanne Morgan Claywell, and her husband, Danny Cleveland Allen,
She is survived by her husband, Todd Shewmaker, her son, Isaac (& Sidney) Allen, Emilia (& Jaysen) Judd, brothers, Brent (& Tylia) Claywell and Gerald (& Gina) Claywell, nieces and nephews, Laura (& Dustin) Harvey, Charlton Claywell, Catherine (& Dan) Polanowicz, Tyler Claywell, Great Niece, Layla Harvey, Aunts and Uncles, Gail (& Tommy) Hurt, Gary (& Betty Lou) Morgan, Phillip (& Sheryl) Morgan, and a host of other cousins, family and friends.
The funeral service will be conducted on, Sunday, June 11, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Shelly officiating. Burial will follow in the Burkesville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 10, at 5:00 p.m. and will continue till the funeral hour on Sunday. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to The Gideon Memorial Bible Plan or Set Apart Program.
